Strategy

Strategy is about seeing the long game and opportunities within it to reach your goals. In order to develop a great strategy to win, knowing how to execute it is critical: this is why Strategy and Planning go together. This involves knowing your customer, knowing your profitability by service, how to value your business appropriately, and finding where that small shift can have big rewards. I've been writing about strategy for years, strategies just now being realized.

Planning

Planning is about finding what you have and what to expect. What if "X" happens, then what do we do? Can we count on selling X number of Y product/service in Z amount of time, and if not then how do we get there? Do we bundle or develop pricing strategies? How do we handle the cost of servicing new clients and areas? Which geographies make sense to expand to, and what do we need to do to get there? All these examples and more develop a plan to drive your business forward for growth and profitability.
